  • 1 dash black pepper (ground)
  • 1½ cups brown rice
  • 2 tbsps capers
  • 1 tsp dried smoked paprika
  • ½ cup frozen green peas
  • 3 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 1 cup green beans (chopped)
  • 1 lime
  • 1 dash sea salt
  • 3 tbsps shallot (thinly chopped)
  • 2 tbsps sunflower oil
  • 1 cup tomato (chopped)
  • 2 tsps turmeric powder
  • 4 cups vegetable broth
  • 1 tbsp wakame seaweed (chopped really small)


  1. Heat up the oil in a big frying pan and fry the garlic and shallot for about 2-3 minutes.
  2. Add the green beans and bell pepper and fry for about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the frozen peas and chopped tomatoes and cook for about 10 minutes.
  4. After that add the rice and fry until it turns translucent.
  5. Add the spices and sea weed together with the vegetable stock, and cook on medium heat for about 20 minutes.
  6. Adjust taste and serve with a slice of lime, enjoy!
