For the salad

  • 6 cups frozen broccoli florets (unthaw)
  • 2 cups frozen unshelled edamame
  • 2 tablespoons roasted sesame seeds
  • 2 medium scallion (thinly sliced) (optional)

For the dressing

  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • 2 tbsps rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 3 tbsps tahini


  1. Steam the broccoli florets until still a bit crunchy for about 3-5 minutes.
  2. Use a small bowl and mix the ingredients for the sauce.
  3. Allow the broccoli florets to cool down before you place them on a tray or in a bowl.
  4. Add the edamame and sprinkle with the scallion.
  5. Add the sauce and sprinkle with the toasted sesame seeds, enjoy!
