10 minutes for pure perfection. And no, I’m not being overdramatic here. Pure… Perfection. What is so good it has me this elated, you might ask? That would be the coconut yogurt tzatziki!
Most food makes me happy. But this little pocket rocket has me jumping around singing cheesy happy tunes. This is due to many reasons, the main ones being it vegan, it’s healthy, and it is a compatible dip for many different types of dishes. Not to mention that it’s super tasty!
Dips are great for so many occasions and this one is no different. Whether it’s for parties, family gatherings, additional pieces to that amazing feast you cooked up, or simply for quiet moments with your favorite go to snack, this delightfully refreshing dip is bound to surpass all of your desires.
To make this quick and easy recipe, you will need only 9 ingredients and 10 minutes. And for cleaning up afterwards? No need to worry about that. Mix all of your ingredients in one bowl and serve it in the same bowl. If you want to go even more minimal, when mixing your dip, use the spoon you intend to serve it with as well. How easy is that?
In this recipe, our main star ingredient is our coconut yogurt. Now depending on which yogurt you buy, your nutritional values may change slightly. However, generally you can expect to get a good source of dietary fiber, antioxidants, and healthy fats. Hint: If you are conscious about your health, opt for an unsweetened and original flavored yogurt.
We also have cucumber, parsley, garlic, mint, scallion, and shallots – essential to any perfect tzatziki. From this, we are offered potassium, vitamin C, magnesium, vitamin K, calcium, and copper (just to name a few).
The coconut yogurt tzatziki is the perfect dip for any occasion because it’s:
To store any unused or pre-prepared dip, simply place it in an airtight container and place it in the fridge for up to 3 days. Due to the ability to store well, you can make this dip in advance for any gathering or use it over a period of several days at home. I do recommend giving it a quick mix before serving to avoid any possible drying effects that may occur.
