For the filling

  • 1 lb button mushroom (chopped)
  • ¼ cup coconut milk
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup
  • ¼ cup peanut butter
  • 1 medium shallot (cut in half)
  • 1 tsp sriracha sauce
  • 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
  • 4 oz white cabbage (shredded)

For the spices

  • ½ tsp dried smoked paprika
  • ½ tsp ground coriander
  • 2 dashes sea salt
  • ½ tsp turmeric powder

For the tacos

  • 1 lime (sliced)
  • 6 taco shells


  1. Heat up the oil in a skillet and saute the mushroom until soft for about 5 minutes.
  2. Blend shallot, garlic peanut butter, maple syrup and coconut milk until smooth.
  3. Add the sauce to the mushrooms and give it a good stir, add spices and salt.
  4. Add the mushrooms and cabbage to the taco shells and serve it with lime, enjoy!
