Due to the filling in these puff pastry turnovers, I advise that you serve and eat them soon after cooking them for the best taste and quality. However, if you do need to store any, simply place your turnovers into and airtight container and pop them in the fridge for up to 48 hours. Don’t forget to heat them before eating!

One thing I love about this recipe is how versatile it is. You can dress it up a little more by adding extra ingredients or flavors (herbs and spices), or you can change the filling completely and put your own favorites in there. Don’t be shy to try something different, you never know – it could end up being your new go-to recipe for everything!
